Yahoo's Index Shrinking?

Late last night I started noticing that Yahoo appeared to be returning results from a smaller index. Every term or phrase I watch appears to have had the total number of available pages significantly reduced. For example, a term that early yesterday was showing something like:

"Results 1 - 10 of about 200,000,000 for term"

Is now showing something like:

"Results 1 - 10 of about 2,000,000 for term"

One specific example is the phrase "coop ad network". While I don't monitor this phrase Yahoo is showing "Results 1 - 10 of about 1,020 for coop ad network". Google on the other hand shows "Results 1 - 100 of about 17,700,000 for coop ad network."

It's universal right now across everything I watch. If you watch this kind of thing check some of your phrases or terms and see if the serps are showing the same pattern for you. I can't imagine this will last long.
